Catering & Food Vendor Rules
At Prairie View Event Hall, we are proud to allow open catering and give our clients the option to choose their favorite food vendor to supply their event. Please read carefully our rules and checklist below to ensure you are able smooth and stress free experience.

RULES:

We do not allow any outside beverages to be brought onto the property of Prairie View Event Hall. If you include beverages with your meal, please advise your client ahead of time, we do not allow it. All beverages must be purchased from Prairie View Event Hall.

Our kitchen is strictly a prep-kitchen. We do not allow cooking to take place at any time in our kitchen. Please have all food cooked and ready to be served.

In the kitchen there is two large sinks that have hot water. You may use this for meal prep. This is not for washing dishes. We do not allow catering or food vendors to wash dishes in our kitchen. ​​

We ask that any prep tables, or kitchen supplies used be cleaned and wiped down before vendors leave.

All food and catering vendors are responsible for the removal of their trash and waste. We have a dumpster located at the north side of the building and garbage cans on wheels to help accommodate this.

We provide a private access for entry to kitchen. Please use this door when loading and unloading equipment and trash.

If you require power please let our coordinator know at least 48 hours prior to the event. We will provide power and power strip, along with rugs to cover cords. We do not allow any tape on our floors.

​Failure to follow our rules or vendors that leave large mess may result in NOT being allowed to operate in our facility for future events. If you have any questions regarding these rules or policies please contact our office at 605-408-6514.
