Meet The Owner

Meet Melissa! ​Born and raised in South Dakota, she enjoys where she lives and works! Melissa has a personal hand in every wedding that happens at Prairie View Event Hall and always keeps an open line of communication with our couples from her email, to calls, to texts on her personal phone.​

Melissa lives in Sioux Falls, a few minutes from event hall!  She lives with her 5 year old son, Aidyn, and her toddler, Elijah. She is an advit dog lover and has two dogs, Rocky and Eclipes!​Not only does she own the venue, but she also owns Plan to Plan Weddings out of Tea and Mitchell!

She is a certified wedding planner/designer and an officiant. She also works lots of hours at Bride to Bride Wedding Consignment in Sioux Falls.
